Yesterday was frustrating. One of our patches of ground is a spring planting of barley hay and the neighbor isn't good about his fences. Two yearling bulls were out and feeding on our spring planting. They spent four days there until I told him that since they were unbranded, may be they weren't his. It was amazing how fast he could move those two bulls when he got the idea that we were going to saddle up, drive them off and put brands on them.

If you feed animals enough they don't usually push on fences. Fay Pishion

We're two weeks out from haying and Fay is getting the horse mower greased and ready for service. There's always something new to fix even if you think you left it in perfect running order at the end of haying season last year.
